Impact Creativity Centre has a strong focus on delivering industry relevant nationally accredited full time courses in the New Media industries.
VET courses are designed for secondary school students in years 10-12.
They allow a student to enroll in a nationally accredited course over 2 years whilst studying at school.
VCE students are also eligable for a scored assesment so the course contributes to their ENTER score.
The VET in Schools (VETiS) training model involves students learning in a commercial
working environment, both at our Bass Coast Campus and online, and at times being employed by Impact for different real life projects.
Classes are structured to an eight-hour day so true vocational experience is ensured.
The working environment is industry standard.
Production work of high standards is expected of the students and is modeled by the trainers.
These courses are Victorian State Government funded and run both during days in the week and online to best emulate the workplace .
The courses are available for anyone over 17 years of age not enrolled in high school. Qualifications may be Centrelink approved and available for enrollment by interview.
All full time courses are nationally accredited and run out of the Bass Coast Campus using face-to-face and online training strategies.
